I'm glad you liked it despite its minor flaws though. Thanks for sharing and,a s always, fabulous review! <3Zoe N.https://www.blogger.com/profile/08980248647201093593noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2583004298603696672.post-31500240601775304492017-04-09T20:14:11.758+01:002017-04-09T20:14:11.758+01:00A lot of people have mentioned that the novel gets...A lot of people have mentioned that the novel gets a bit repetitive and drags at times. I am still going to read it though, because after the Lunar Chronicles I will basically read anything that this author writes. I also really like the sound of that world building <3Olivia's Catastrophehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12706765857201768908noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2583004298603696672.post-8873218680698488692017-04-05T14:55:31.733+01:002017-04-05T14:55:31.733+01:00I'm always hesitant with picking up books that...I'm always hesitant with picking up books that get so much hype as well - that's why I have ignored this one and Caraval for quite some time now. However, I did love the re-telling of Alice in Wonderland by A.G. Howard (Splintered) so I might give this one a chance!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11359842429067797527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2583004298603696672.post-73458929050199803432017-04-01T12:10:02.621+01:002017-04-01T12:10:02.621+01:00I was happy that the hype didn't hurt this boo...I was happy that the hype didn't hurt this book for me. But I can see why it could for other people. I agree with you about the Cheshire Cat and Hatta. I think they were my 2 favorite side characters. I loved how the cat came from Cath's dreams-- I thought that was a cool tidbit to know. The only thing I didn't love about this book was that it made me HUNGRY!! I can't make Lemon Tarts (and I don't want to because-- MESS) and Rose Macaroons-- but at 1 in the morning I found myself reading this book and really wishing I could!Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02288722022982656753noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2583004298603696672.post-14790993852345304802017-03-31T18:48:46.093+01:002017-03-31T18:48:46.093+01:00The same happened to me with Caraval. I am planning on reading Heartless this Spring and I hope it lives up to the hype, because I am obsessed with Alice in Wonderland and its retellings.

http://www.carmensreadingcorner.co.ukCarmenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13911468500650755918noreply@blogger.com
