Books with Cults in them always fascinate me so I’m so glass to find another!

Thanks for the great review!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03061605624475014496noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2583004298603696672.post-69415069715298239252014-05-04T21:01:58.326+01:002014-05-04T21:01:58.326+01:00Thanks for checking it out! Series are some one my favorites, but I have to agree how nice it is to find a stand alone every once in a while. I'm involved in way too many series right now! Great review, glad you enjoyed it. ~Pamyaescapefromrealityhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08200254719073248981noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2583004298603696672.post-5891869694977994272014-05-02T21:26:22.868+01:002014-05-02T21:26:22.868+01:00That intrigued me to but it's completely legit...That intrigued me to but it's completely legit. There actually was a Cult of Artemis back in the day, and once it wasn't a derogatory word. It was just another word for a religion. When Christianity first came about it was actually referred to a cult for quite a long time, a hundred years or so. So the world is used in a derogatory way most of the time now, but in the world of Goddess, where cults like that stayed around, it probably never would have come to have those connotations. I just found this all really interesting, not what I usually read but I found it really fascinating. XD But I...Heh...I really had trouble with this one! XD But I kind of wondered about their use of the word "cult"?? Usually, it's like used in a way of "oh you're a cult and that's bad". So I found it weird that they called THEMSELVES the cult instead of saying they were the One True Way or whatnot. I did a bit of research but I couldn't find out particularly if the word "cult" is derogatory or not. I just felt it was weird usage, you know?? But I'm positive the author knows waaaay more on the subject then me. x)CG @ Paper Furyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14954615708675952085noreply@blogger.com
