Yeah, the card thing was strange but part of me thought magnetised or something. I don't know, the end was the most confusing part of the film for me. I can understand what you mean as well, about wanting to know how the did the other tricks as well because, well, it's always nice to have a good explanation. The plot twist at the end... I predicted it xD Not a predictable film though, I just kind of knew... It also bothered me when some goes unexplained. I love Dave Franco's character in this one. And I think there's going to be a sequel?? I feel like they purposefully leave it open in the hopes that they can do a sequel, but I don't see the need. I think they should have just done a proper ending to this one and I would have been really satisfied.

I do the exact same thing, I browse the Amazon deals and buy a bunch of them and yet I haven't got to any of them yet either, it's really bad. I loved the movie, the characters and the magic aspect of it, but that ending left me a little cold. The twist was good, but that specific end-bit was just, "what?!". As for male/female protagonists, I don't have a preference but I enjoy both for different reasons, female because I can often relate, and male because I really enjoy getting an in-sight into that POV. I have an eReader that I haven't used a lot at all, and I read eGalleys and library loans on my tablet. I have a terrible problem where I snap up cheap eBooks on offers and deals, the 59/99p type and I've never gotten around to any of them yet, but I keep adding to them!! I'll always prefer physical copies though, no matter what! The Thursday discussion posts are great, I'd love to find the time to fit them in! I can't believe you've not seen Zombieland though, I mean, I have and I don't like Zombies, Emma Stones in it, Jesse and Woody and they all banter so well, you'll love it, definitely makes me want to review it now though! :D I'm so happy you enjoyed this though, you've still got me excited to watch it even though you didn't love it, and that's great, thank you for reviewing it! :)
When it comes to the questions, I prefer female protagonists because I can relate better, but I do think the gender of an author matters. You'll most commonly find that female authors create female protagonists while male authors produce both and I think that's strange personally. When it comes to E-readers, I don't have one, but I do use Adobe Reader and Kindle on my laptop, so does that count? When it comes down to it, I'd probably prefer to read physical copies rather than digitals, just because looking at screens too long hurts my eyes and gives me headaches, no matter the size, and I also love the feel of turning the pages, I'm a 'ald girl at heart and probably always will be :)Amanda Grayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04357839391966441808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2583004298603696672.post-362327614865391862014-05-15T11:53:41.260+01:002014-05-15T11:53:41.260+01:00It was SO freakishly weird seeing Hulk not being.....It was SO freakishly weird seeing Hulk not being...hulk. I mean, dude, get angry. That's your secret, right? I spent most of the movie laughing at him...*ahem* But I DID love the movie, there is just no way in this world that I understand the ending. It was all so real until they jumped on the carosel and goodness knows what happened. WEIRD. I was impressed though, that Hulk wasn't just a stereotyped FBI idiot. But he was still hulk.

For the POVs, I think I like a mixture! I love experiencing it from both sides...and I do know that some authors kind of suck when they try to go from the opposite gender's perspective...but a LOT of authors rock it. Like John Green writing Hazel and Erin Lange writing Dead Ends...aaaand Dan Wells tackling Kira in Partials. So I'm happy with whatever the author decides to narrate from, just so long as they do it awesomely. ;)CG @ Paper Furyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14954615708675952085noreply@blogger.com
