2014 Netgalley & Edelweiss Reading Challenge

This is hosted over at Falling for YA and this is a challenge I could really use. I may have gone a little over the top with how many titles I have requested and downloaded from Edelweiss and Netgalley, it's only been four months and I already have a large collection. So this challenge should really help me get through a lot of them.

Challenge Guidelines
  • This challenge will run from Jan 1, 2014 – Dec 31, 2014.
  • Anyone is welcome to join. You do not need to be a blogger, just post your reviews and go back every month to link them up.
  • Any genre, release date, request date, length, etc. counts so long as it came from Edelweiss or Netgalley.
  • At the beginning of each month there will be a roundup post for you to add your reviews.
  • If you forget to link up one month it's not a problem just add your reviews next month.
  • If you would like to move up or down levels that is completely fine and at your discretion
  • Throughout the year there will be giveaways for Challenge participants, make sure to check in regularly and follow this blog so you don't miss any!
  • If you have any questions tweet Emily @FallingForYA or e-mail Emisbookblog@aol.com
Levels
Aluminum – 5 books
Bronze – 10 books
Silver – 25 books
Gold – 50 books
Platinum – 75 books
Diamond– 100 books

I'm really hoping to go for Gold, or even Platinum!

So here are all my ARCs atm that still need reading. These are in some kind of order, from earliest release date to latest. But no links to the books, that would take far too long!

  1. I've seen this challenge around and bene thinking about joining but I decided not to because I such at challenges. lol.
You got same great books to read though. I'm so jealous you got an arc of Unhinged. I've been trying to hard to get it but alas! Guess I should buy it soon. Cruel Beauty I already read and it's the best. My favorite book I read in 2013! I should also read Sea of Shadows. Love me some Kelley Armstrong! And Sleep No More too.
Also I have hurt amazing things about The Murder Complex!

Good luck with your challenge, girlie!

    1. I've not done any challenges before, so I'm excited but nervous to see how I do! I can't wait to read Splintered and Unhinged together, I think I'm going to really enjoy that series. Thanks, I hope I reach my goal :)

  2. Oh you have Virtro?!! Jealous!! lol Happy reading! Some of those ones I've read and LOVE. This is a pretty good idea for a challenge. I haven't requested anything from NetGalley for a while. I got really swamped with over-requesting from library and NetGalley and now I've only got 3 books to read. It's a huge relief. I feel like I've conquered. ;) Buuuut, it'll only be a matter of time before I succumb and get back on NetGalley. ;)

    1. I try my hardest to NOT request anything... but I cave so easily. I really need to stop. I'm hoping this will help to cut down how many arcs I have waiting to be read.

  5. oh, I have all of these books on my TBR - some I also have ARCs for. This is a great challenge, I really need to read more Netgalley and Edelweiss ARCs, too. But I am working my way through my list for now. I may sign up for this challenge though, as it's a good way to make sure I keep on track.

    Good luck!

  6. As much as I want to sign up for this challenge, I am apprehensive because it makes the pressure more palpable. Good lord, a lot of these are still on my TBR and I even have to stop blogging for a couple of days just so I can chase my pending reads. xD

And right now, I am even contemplating on requesting 1 arc per month so I wouldn't get drowned. But I salute you for doing this.

I wish you all the best of luck with this challenge. I know you can do it. xD

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment, it always makes my day! Because of time restraints, this is now an award free zone but thanks so much for considering me! Feel free to leave a link to your own blog and I will come visit.
