This is hosted over at Caffeinated Book Reviewer and is a weekly meme where you can share any news, recap what happened on the blog in the week, showcase all the books you've gotten and share what you have coming up the following week.
This has been a bit of a manic month for me, lots of work and days of actually socialising, which has meant less time to read. But hopefully with all the time I have booked off for Christmas I will be able to find lots more time for books. After the sad news that my grandad passed away last week, it has been a nice week of work and distractions. I also got to go and see Imagine Dragons live at Brixton Academy on Tuesday; it was AMAZING! I loved every minute and the atmosphere was really great. I really wish I had booked tickets for more than one show as I loved every minute and would definitely go again!
I also saw The Hunger Games: Catching Fire for the third time, this time I dragged the boyfriend along and he really loved it too. It just gets better every time I see it, if you haven't seen it yet then you must! My Giveaway ended and it felt nice to send the books off to the winner, wish I could have given more people prizes though. Keep an eye out for another Giveaway soon, this time for more than one winner. I am also helping Stephanie @ Book Fever celebrate her 2 year blogoversary by giving away a book for one winner of their choice from TBD, that starts tomorrow so come back for that. She's had loads of authors and publishers donate prizes as well.

Goodness, that's a lot of books. I simply adored Steelheart, it was such a fabulous surprise. I really hope you will, too.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!
I'm looking forward to Steelheart, one of the guys I work with at the library recommended it to me and he has really great taste! Thanks for stopping by =D
DeleteI am so jealous that you got to see Imagine Dragons live! I bet they are just amazing in person. :)
ReplyDeleteAMAZING!!! And such nice people as well, really humble and thankful for where they are now. I am going again when they come back to the UK! =D
DeleteI'm sorry to hear about your granddad, but I'm glad you had some fun things to lift your spirits.
ReplyDeleteCatching Fire was so good. I need to make time to see it at least once more in the theater!
Stephanie @ Inspiring Insomnia
I have, quite sadly, seen it four times and it has not got old yet! Thanks so much :)
