I've tried to make time for reading as well, but that's been proving difficult. I did manage to finish Never Never and reread Uninvited. Never Never is a really strange one and one I found almost impossible to review, you can look out for my attempt tomorrow! I got 6 of these books in a 3 for 2 deal at WHSmith last week, but then forgot to add them to my haul. Ooops! But that was probably for the best, my haul last week was a little ridiculous.
I am especially proud I've managed to plan some posts this week, considering the fact I have discovered and become addicted to Community! I LOVE that show and it really deserves so much more recognition.
I'm linking up with Tynga's Stacking the Shelves.
City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare - I got the first five at Christmas and really want to give this series a try. Thought I'd grab the last one whilst it was on deal, I'm planning to binge read them.
What If by Rebecca Donovan -I'm easily roped in by deals, as this and many of the other books aren't ones I am desperate to read.
The Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Indian by Sherman Alexie -Have heard so many good things about this one!
The Art of Being Normal by Lisa Williamson - Managed to get a signed copy of this when I was at Waterstones for Harry Potter Book Night.
The Treatment by Suzanne Young - I read an ARC of this and didn't like it very much, it didn't have the satisfying ending I was hoping for. But I really loved book one, so I wanted to own the series - so I made sure to get this on a super good deal.
I won this in a giveaway on Twitter. Thanks Daphne!
I keep forgetting to add in my eARCs to my haul posts, so there's quite a few to add in here.

OOOh you did very nice this week! Look at all those review books! I also got Girl at Midnight this week! Eager for the Cage as well, but I was rejected thrice for that, so I stopped requesting! Plenty to read until its release is what I always say! LOL!
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading!
My STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by then!
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
:P Make that Sunday! Not tomorrow! LOL!
DeleteI know. My review ARCs are a little ridiculous right now. I need to stop requesting and downloading them. It's going to take me the rest of my life to actually get through them all.
DeleteCITY OF HEAVENLY FIRE:DDDDDDDDDDD So many books to review:O
ReplyDeleteFantastic haul! With all those awesome books, it shouldn't be hard to get back into blogging. Good luck! I reviewed Never Never last week, MAN was it hard to do! I really liked it, but I wasn't sure how to review it without giving something away. I figured it out eventually. I hope you enjoy your new books! Happy reading!

OKAY, SO JUST SO YOU KNOW I'M A MEGA FAN OF CASSANDRA CLARE. I SHALL BE HERE SCREECHING AS YOU READ. XDXD *whispers* But no pressure if you don't like them. ;-) ajfdkalfds Simon.
ReplyDelete*ahem*
SO! I'm glad it's been a bit of a better bloggy week for you. I've been awful, I think I posted like, um, twice! OOPS. xD
So many books! SO MANY! And a lot of them look really interesting. I became a liiittle bit addicted to Community sometimes last year (..?), and I had nobody to talk to about it because nobody here knows what it is! But I think it's getting a bit more popularity now...
ReplyDeleteThe first chapter on my new short story is up, but I can see you have LOADS to read already so nooo pressure at all. I dunno how you do it, but hey. The life of a bookworm. c:
Wow, big haul! When are you going to find time to read that mega pile! *grins* Sometimes restraint goes right out the window with all those shiny books out there. Hope you get lots of reading time this week and enjoy your books!
ReplyDeleteYou've done well for books this week! :-) Well done for squeezing in some time for reading and blogging, it's so hard when you're so busy! My STS
ReplyDeleteTHAT ARE A LOT OF BOOKS! Cassandra CLare all the way!
ReplyDeleteMy Stacking the Shelves!
Wow, that's a whole lot of awesomeness this week! Have fun reading them!
ReplyDeleteWOW. An incredible haul indeed. I hope that you love all your new books this week. They look amazing.

The Cage! Ooh, I really hope you love it! I've had my eye on it for a while now - I mean, a human zoo?! Yep, that's all I needed to know, LOL! I can't wait to read it :D I bought Gates of Thread and Stone this week, and I got Infinite from NG :D Hope we both like them! They sound amazing, and I really hope they live up to the premise. Have a great week, Charnell!

Yay, I can't wait to hear what you think about the Mortal Instruments series. How fun to binge-read. To be honest, I wasn't that impressed with the first book, I thought it was ok, but then I got sucked in and loved the series.
ReplyDeleteSo many great review books! I just finished reading Girl at Midnight and LOVED it. So good. And I also loved Gates of Thread and Stone and The Infinite. Have fun reading! ~Pam
Congrats to you on all of the new additions!
ReplyDeleteGreat haul! I've been recommended the Age of Miracles a few times so I may have to pick it up; it must be pretty good! Things We Know by Heart is one that I can't wait for. I've heard great things about Jessi Kirby's novels! In a World Just Right sounds really good too. I hope you enjoy your books! :)
ReplyDeleteKrystianna @ Downright Dystopian
Excellent haul, you got some very interesting books in amongst those you've bought and the eARC's that I will be looking out for your reviews on.
ReplyDeleteYou sound like you're feeling a little bit better about things and I'm glad you're starting to find your footing with the blog and your reading again xx
Glad you have been having some more time for blogging! I am sure the reading will follow in time soon as well. And this is a really cool haul! It's great that you were able to get the end of The Mortal Instruments series - I can't wait to see what you think of those because I love them! The Hit Looks interesting and I would like to try the one The Treatment sometime as well!
ReplyDeleteAs for review copies, I would love to read Gates of Thread and Stone, The Cage and Things We Know by Heart! Some of these I also received, so I am interested in seeing how our opinions might match/differ!
You've been a busy bee once again this week, Charnell, but it sounds as though you're getting back into the swing of things blog-wise, which is great! And is also something that I really need to do. I haven't been able to read a book this week...nothing's grabbing hold of my attention, and I'm trying to force myself to read a review book which seems to have a lot of unnecessary explanations. Oh well. Hopefully I will get there soon.
ReplyDeleteAnother fantastic haul! I'm really interested in seeing what you think of The Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Indian and Vendetta. :)
Again, don't worry about the blog. Do what you can when you can/want. But I get feeling guilty and such. Hope you're feeling a bit more like yourself lately. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat haul! I really enjoyed The Age of Miracles when I read it a few years ago.
Look at all those e-ARC's. I just read Rebound and liked it a lot more than Boomerang. Much better story and romance. I can't wait to get my hands on The Girl at Midnight, The Things We Know By and The Cage. :D
Happy reading!

I can definitely understand work getting crazy and not having a ton of time to blog! I had my formal observation with my principal last week, but they give us a two week window where they can come at any time, so my mind was on that for about two weeks and blogging and reading did fall to the wayside. I am trying to get much better about scheduling more posts on the weekends when I do have more time, though!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you have some awesome books here, so I hope that you have time to enjoy some of them soon!

I loved City Of Heavenly Fire and Darkest Part Of The Forest, hope you enjoy them! It's a shame that you didn't like The Treatment more, I thought it was quite well-done. Have a great week!
ReplyDelete-Jon from Bookish Antics!
Glad to hear you're back to getting your blogging schedule underway! I'm pretty comfortable with my posting every 2nd day schedule as well. I don't know how I feel about TMI series, I stopped after the 2nd one but I have the rest of it on my shelves to read as well. Have a great week Charnell!
